The Group currently owns two tea plantation bases in Anxi County of Fujian Province and Huangshan of Anhui Province, growing oolong tea and green tea respectively, with both tea plantation bases equipped with automatic tea processing production line.
Anxi County Plantation Base of Fujian Province has a total area of 30,000 mu, mainly focuses on the plantation of oolong tea, including Tie Guan Yin (鐵觀音), Mao Xie (毛蟹), Huangjin Gui (黃金桂) and Ben Shan (本山). Fujian Province is China’s largest tea manufacturer, gaining number one across eight different aspects including tea output, improved variety penetration rate, production, special tea, export price, tea quality, sales volume and market share for nine consecutive years. Anxi County has exceptional climatic, soil and geographical advantage, which is appropriate for the plantation of oolong tea. Anxi County is also the origin of the famous Tie Guan Yin and other oolong sub-varieties.
Huangshan Plantation Base in Anhui Province has a total area of 40,000 mu, and specialises in the plantation of green tea, including Huangshan Mao Feng (黃山毛峰), Huangshan Yin’gou (黃山銀鈎), Tun Lu (屯綠) and Ding Gu Da Fang (頂穀大方). Anhui Province is one of the prominent locations for tea production, wholesale and distribution centre of the tea industry. Furthermore, Anhui Province accounted for 30% of the production of China’s top ten famous teas.
At the same time, Ping Shan intends to acquire a 6,500 mu tea plantation base in Fujian Province alongside several retail stores, and a refined tea business in Hubei Province. In the future, the Group will continue seeking other acquisition opportunities and expand its own business.
